“Honey, it’s time.”
“AGAIN? Are you sure this time? Never mind, I’ll get the car, your overnight bag is still in the trunk.”
How many times did my husband and I go to the hospital when expecting our first child? Let’s just say that when it really was “time” neither of us believed it and we barely made it to the delivery room. Braxton Hicks labor pains and symptoms can be quite deceptive. It is also referred to as “false labor” a most fitting description. False labor presents itself like the real thing and unless you’re in-tune you can definitely be deceived.
How many times have we heard through the ages, through the years that “this is it”, the day of the Lord is at hand! Unfortunately, these false labor symptoms have hardened some of us and has deafened our ears to the watchman’s cries of warning. Don’t be one of those statistics, please. Watchmen, tired of the deafness, and the skeptics? Look up! These are a fulfillment of prophesy! Jude 1:18,19 & 2 Peter 3:3,4
Keep listening. Keep warning. Keep interceding. Be prayerful in all things.
Maybe you don’t believe a single word of the warnings that have been blitzing social media? That’s alright as long as you activate your faith for salvation, it’s always time for salvation! God has given you a portion. He gave every single person a portion of faith. It’s up to us to exercise it, strengthen it, increase it. He also gave His Spirit to help us in doing exactly that. He will show you the Truth, the Way and the Life. Ask His holy Spirit and He will show you the truth. Believers aren’t warning folks in order to get some sort of “brownie point”. We sincerely care about your salvation. The warnings are not a “tool” to get people saved, the warnings are true warnings.
God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I Believe Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Your only begotten Son shed His life-changing blood and died for my sin and He lives forever. I am willing to turn from sin and I invite Jesus Christ into my heart and life as my personal Savior.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 But concerning the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say “peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them,a s labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as other do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
